The first of its kind in Union County, our school intervention program is a community based effort to provide in-school crisis intervention services and counseling for children and adolescents. The program is a unique partnership between Resolve and school personnel to counsel at-risk children. Resolve has carried out school intervention programs for the Scotch Plains Fanwood school system and for many nonpublic schools under the IDEA-B program.
Scotch Plains – Fanwood Schools
Resolve Letter to Parents and Guardians:
This past April, the Scotch Plains-Fanwood school budget was defeated forcing cuts and reductions of services and programs in our public schools. Unfortunately, Resolve Community Counseling Center, Inc. was one of the programs eliminated.
Although Resolve is no longer offered in the Scotch Plains-Fanwood public schools, our agency continued to be an integral part of our communities. We are dedicated to providing quality and affordable counseling and educational programs for children, adolescents and adults, couples and families. Resolve is a lifeline for those children and families who need a special kind of support and encouragement.
Our highly accredited staff of psychologists, social workers and licensed professional counselors covers a wide range of concerns. If you need our services, please contact us. Bilingual services are available. We accept most major insurances. The uninsured are served on a sliding scale basis, according to family income. Please be assured that all cases are treated discretely and confidentially.
Resolve will help you help yourself.
Sincerely,
Barbara Roskin
President
